Celery Delight
This wonderful dish would do very well as an appetizer. But can also be served as part of the main meal as a vegetable. Everything tastes better with cheese. This recipe includes the best of both worlds with a delicious topping and a vegetable that is incredibly nutritional.
Ingredients:
1 bunch celery, cleaned with no leaves
1 cup Swiss cheese, grated
3 tablespoons Italian bread crumbs
1 pinch salt
Directions:
Cut stalks into 4-inch sections. Boil the celery in water with a pinch of salt for 30 minutes. Drain the water thoroughly. Place the celery in a baking pan, sprinkle on cheese and bread-crumbs. Bake the dish in the oven for 10 minutes; making sure the cheese is browned. Serve the dish and enjoy!
